Mark has a degree in BSc Sports Science and is one of our qualified nutritionists at No1 Fitness. He likes to take an evidence-based approach to both his training and diet. A love for all foods and a flexible approach to nutrition for both him and his clients allows for long term, sustainable results without having to restrict the foods that you enjoy.
His outlook on nutrition is that, it is a source of enjoyment and this shouldn’t change whilst going through a transformation or participating in fitness slots. He says ‘As long as you can control the quantity.’
Having stepped on stage and competed in physique competitions himself. Mark specialises in optimising body composition; whether that be muscle gain, fat loss, or a combination of the two. Taking himself down to a very low body fat percentage in the past means he is also aware of what it takes not only physically, but mentally as well. Going through an extreme body transformation is not the easiest, so he will be able to support you the whole way!
