Jack started training with Andy at No1 Fitness with the goal of dropping body fat in order to get in shape do his upcoming holiday to Argentina.
Working in a high demanding financial role in the city, Jack himself was extremely stressed, hadn’t exercised for a few years and his day to day nutrition was not the greatest, as well as being fairly sedentary in his day to day life.
In terms of his strength training programme, Andy focused on his upper back to make him look wider and leaner whilst improving his posture, as well as working the big muscle groups in order to drop that body fat and build up as much muscle as possible. Andy also would add in a cardio day into Jack’s program for him to complete alongside the PT sessions.
With Jacks diet, Andy and Mark (nutritionist) increased his protein intake to help aid his recovery with his training, whilst also to help him feel full and satisfied. He also kept a track of what he was eating, so when he had a social event, Jack was able to drop his calories in the lead up to the event so he could still have a good time. All was done whilst in a calorie deficit through food, the strength training and a few extra cardio sessions when needed.
