Thanasi originally came to No1 Fitness and worked with Simon Jones to lose a little weight and move better. It wasn’t until Simon informed him that a photoshoot was coming up that Thanasi made himself a new goal to be photo shoot ready. Simon put him through a strict weight lifting program, progressing either the reps, sets or weight lifted every week, and then changed it after week 4-6 to avoid bordom and plateau from the client.
Thanasi diet wasn’t as strict as you see in the magazines. Throughout this transformation, Thanasi had Christmas, family holidays and business trips to get through. Therefore it was a protein target and a remaining daily kcal allowance with monitored fasting days for when Thanasi went over his kcal limit or in the build up to a kcal dense event
