I came to No1 with the objective of losing weight, becoming leaner and building my strength and stamina. I’d trained for competitive sport when younger, but like many people in their mid-30’s the pressures of work and living in London meant I’d lost focus and gradually gained weight.

I was immediately impressed with the level of professionalism, expertise and care demonstrated by the trainers at No1. The initial consultation with Ben reassured me the team knew what they were doing and they matched me with a PT who pushed me hard, but always with a sense of fun and challenge. A strict PT programme of x3/4 sessions a week combined with excellent nutritional advice from the in-house nutritionist resulted in a rapid reduction in my fat levels and improvements in flexibility, strength and lean muscle mass.

Working with the team on an ongoing basis has meant I’ve been able to establish a weekly routine which has led to continuous progress. The variety and tweaks to the programme has ensured I’ve never become bored and I loved learning how to use the TRX system, ‘Prowler’ and ViPR.

I’ve been amazed by the results I’ve achieved from working with No1 and highly recommend them to anyone looking to develop their fitness level. They have fundamentally changed my approach to wellness and taught me to listen to my body, feed it correctly and make the time to exercise. My energy levels are incredible, I’m more focused in my professional and personal life and I’ve learnt how to care for myself in a way which will last a lifetime.
